Trey Songz is an R & B singer who always has a tone in his music. He never disrespects women and he always know what to say to make a person think about what’s happening or what’s going on. A lot of people have changed their ways of living, because of his music in general. When I listen to his music it usually calms me down and makes me feel relaxed. His music always has me smiling and always has me in a good mood. Trey Songz knows what to say in all of his music. In music a lot of people express their emotions and it also defines who a person really is without them really coming out saying it. All music will have a different meaning to everybody. Trey Songz music means to me that he has been in love and is trying to get a message across to the girl that he wants to be with.  Most of his music is known to be relaxing, and calming. There is a very few songs that Trey Songs has made to get people hyped. 

Trey Songz has made many albums in past years that he has been famous.  The album that I really enjoy is his latest album Pain Pleasure which is almost to the hit wonder list. It is one song on the album that caught my attention “Can’t be Friends.” In that song he talks about losing someone he really love, and he was trying to get a message across to the girl that he can’t be friends with her he wants to be more than that. It’s like he was saying that there is no one who would treat her like he did or who love her like he did. It makes me think about my relationship every time I listen to that song. I always ask myself would I want to be friends with someone that I really love and care so much about. It would make me think about all of the good things and the bad things that have happened.  His music brings a good conversation to the table.  In every song he has wrote/published he have not down talked a women he has never made a women feel out of place. He makes women feel confident about themselves he even makes males think about the kind of girl they have. I would rate all of his music with ten stars, because he speaks the truth and in a good respectful manner.

There is some music that he makes that is appropriate for children and there are some that is not. Parents would allow their children to listen to trey songs because he keeps most of his music clean with the language. Trey Songz has made R & B more popular than it has ever been in the past coupled years.  Everyone has talked about how Trey Songz has put his heart into his music and takes his time just to make his listeners happy. I enjoy listening to Trey Songz music in the car and at night time on my way to bed. Music has known to be honest, because many artists express themselves and try to get a point across. There is some music that is not what the artist makes it seem. They would rap or sing about one thing and live there lives like another. Music has different meanings so maybe the artist is breaking down what is going on in their life.

The Family Traditional Celebration

             Having a person fall on ice is expected. But having the same person fall every year is hilarious.

                Every December 24^th is the day that my family gets together to celebrate Christmas. Each year my little sister Monei who is eight years old falls trying to run up the stairs. After all of the entertainment, we all greet each other. The first thing that I do is take a glance at all of the food that has been prepared. There are so many things that have been prepared by my auntie Tease who everyone calls the 50 year old military sergeant, because she is always trying to boss everyone around; and my step-mother Tracy who everyone calls Minnie me because she is very short. They have prepared corn bread, gumbo, chicken, red beans and rice, ham, dinner rolls, dressing, and greens there is plenty more. We then say grace and dig into all of the food.  After we are done eating it is around 10 P.M.

               We all then come together with our quarters and play bingo. The first game is usually a quarter and the prize is over five dollars. We play bingo about six times, and then we play family feud, our way, which is fun. All of the games usually last up to an hour. Once games are over everyone usually helps clean up and pack up any left overs, so when it’s time to go home everyone will be able to just leave. Around 11:45 P.M. everyone gathers up their Christmas gifts so that they can be exchanged.

                 At 12:00 A.M. everyone exchange their presents to each other. It is always the time of night where a lot of hugs and love is being passed around. After gifts are passed out, every one helps clean up their wrappings; with the confusion that it is a crowded, so there is very little space to move. It’s funny, because everybody is falling over each other. I personally cherish this day. The family has lost two loved ones around this time and it has been very hard to celebrate Christmas without having an emotional breakdown but it has not stopped the family tradition. We have learned to come closer to one another and have a good time. We encourage each other to enjoy the food, music, games, excitement, and love we all have to share. Once our party is over we end our night with big smiles and love on our hearts and lots of presents and I almost forgot lots of left overs.  With everyone having a happy and enjoyable Merry Christmas is part of the whole family traditional celebration.

Mudville

Robbins, IL is known to be called Mudville just because there are no sidewalks. It was incorporated on December 14, 1917. It is the oldest all-black governed incorporated town in the northern United States. it is known to be a small suburb right outside of the city of Chicago. Robbins is known to be over populated with families who share two bedroom homes. Robbins is considered to be a one small circle that you can not get lost in. There are very little stores in Robbins they are all walking distances. I have only been living in Robbins for five years and I know almost everybody that how small it is. Every time it rain the streets get flooded with rain and mud, it makes it hard for the cars to get through.

Many people would consider Robbins to be a small town that don’t care bout their people when that is not true Robbins is known for trying to help the community and the people. They have many youth programs and elderly programs. They help people who are not able to pay their bills they give food to the ones who can’t provide for themselves. Robbins was able to build over 40 new homes so people in the projects will be able to move into their own. Many famous people were born and raised in Robbins, for instance Dwayne Wade who has donated so much money to keeping the town alive and KeKe Palmer who has came back to motivate others that she will always love where she came from because the people in Robbins is why she is famous today. Robbins is not how many make it seem it’s only what you make it.

The Disney Store

As I walk through the lower level of Orland Mall I see my favorite store the Disney Store. It has a lot of action it carries lots of Disney characters, clothes, towels, cups, costumes’, and backpacks. The Disney store is located inside of Orland square mall on the first floor right across from forever 21 and next door to justices. The big ears on the Disney store drags my attention it makes me want to go in there and shop. Mickey Mouse is my favorite character. I have always loved Mickey mouse since I was younger. My mom thinks I should give him and the store up but I can’t. How can I give up a great store with great customers’ satisfaction? The employees makes sure every customers is happy and they offer the high qualify of making everyone come back. Every time I go Orland Square Mall my first stop is the Disney store because it has always been my favorite store since I was a child.  I have always wanted to work there so that I can   have everything Mickey mouse, for every purchase I made at the Disney store they will give me a discount for how much I shop there. I have purchase many items from the Disney store such as Mickey Mouse teddy bears, covers, towels, and cups. There are always people saying you are too old for the Disney Store I tell them you never get to old for the Disney Store.

My Typical Monday Morning

My alarm clock went off at 8:00 A.M. I hot hit the snooze button and then it went off again. I realized I had an hour to get ready for school. I got my cloths out and iron them. I turned on my favorite music video channel MTV JAMZ. I turned it all the way up and went to get in the shower. Once I got out I turned on the computer so that I can check my Facebook. I check the time it was 8:37 A.M. I went to get dress. After getting dress I checked the time again it was 8:53 A.M. I went outside to warm my car up and then at 9:00 A.M. I was pulling out my driveway. By 9:30 A.M. I was at school looking for a parking spot. After finding one I sat in the lobby for about 20 minutes on my cell phone. I realized that it was Monday so I went to finical services and paid off some of my tuition; it’s a every Monday routine. 9:56 A.M. I was going to my first class. Once that class was over I waited five minutes and went to my ENG 111 class. And there was my teacher who was waiting for 12:00 P.M. so he can get to work.
